Background information

Aikikai Aikido Amsterdam is an association. By registring as a student you agree to become a member of the association. You accept that you will pay membershipfee to the association. AAA in turn is associated with YuWaKai, an umbrella organization for Aikido-dojos, which is recognized by the headquarters of Aikikai-Aikido in Japan. As member of AAA you automatically are member of YuWaKai and have the right to participate in seminars, registration of gradings, and recognized Dan-gradings. Furthermore YuWaKai is member of Aikido Nederland, the national umbrella organization for Aikido, which is recognized by the national sport council NSF and recognized by the Ministry of Sport. In the membershipfee for YuWaKai an amount is included for membership of Aikido Nederland. As member of Aikido Nederland you are covered by a collective insurance and you have access to the seminars AN organises. The instructors of YuWaKai are recognized by AN, NSF and the Ministry of Sport. As a member you have access to the instructors course of AN.
